Just a few more days

And another year has passed. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. The very best wishes for 2011. See you all next year!

A week to Berlin

I’m leaving for Berlin today. A couple of days off together with a friend. I’ve been pondering what to take with me. The choice is a pair of kneesocks with cables. Here they are, I’m about halfway through the leg.



We’re going by train, which means quite a few hours sitting down with my hands free. I wonder how far I’ll get before returning home. I’m only taking the socks, that way I can’t be distracted with other knitting. Knitting kneesocks doesn’t go very fast. Of course I also packed a book and my spindle. Seven hours of nonstop knitting would make me go bonkers.
